PGL Major Stockholm 2021 CS:GO Betting Bonuses & Free Bets

There are different betting bonus types you can claim at top CS:GO online betting sites. This includes welcome bonuses, free CS:GO bets, deposit bonuses, risk-free bets, and many others. With the right bonus, you will be able to bet more on CS:GO and other esports games without having to risk too much money. Besides that, you can be lucky to win money from the bonuses.

Depending on the esports betting site, you may need to provide a promo code to claim bonuses. This is usually an alphanumeric code that you can enter into a particular field, and the bonus will be added to your account instantly. However, be aware that most of the bonuses offered by sportsbooks for CS:GO betting are deposit bonuses, so you have to make a qualifying deposit to claim them.

Before you claim any bonus, make sure you go through the terms and conditions that apply. In most cases, esports betting bonuses come with a wagering requirement that players must fulfill before collecting the winnings made from it. Additionally, there is usually a minimum odd for bets placed using the bonus money. You can check the promotions section of a betting site to see its available bonuses.

PGL Major Stockholm 2021 CS:GO Betting Markets

There are three main betting markets you should be aware of if you are a new player seeking to gamble on CS:GO. Winners of the tournament, matches, and maps. Despite the fact that there are other betting markets, we'll concentrate on these three. These betting markets exist to provide you with opportunities. So, let's take a look at how each one works and how they can be beneficial to you.

Tournament Winner

Tournament Winner Betting is a prop bet, where you bet on a team that will win the entire tournament. For example, you can bet on the player that will win the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 right at the start of the competition. This form of wager necessitates a high level of trust in your chosen team. However, it's one of the best and easy betting options.

Match Winner

The Match Winner bet is another betting market available in the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 event. So how does match-winner work? It is the most basic and straightforward bet accessible and offered by almost every esports betting site. You simply choose which team you believe will win a certain match. It's a fantastic way to see how well you know the game and the teams.

Map Winner

Map Winner betting is one of the CS:GO special bets that heavily rely on team information. Bets on CS:GO Map Winners are usually put on BO3 or BO5 matches. This is a unique form of CS:GO wagers in which you choose a specific map that you believe a team will win. This should provide the gamer with some excellent odds and opportunities to win.

Handicap

There's plenty of room for handicap wagers in the tournament as well. Handicaps or point spread is a negative or positive advantage that a sportsbook gives a team. For instance, if you bet on Team A with a -2.5 handicap, the team would have to beat their opponents by at least 3 points margin to win your wager. Most top esports betting sites offer handicap betting for CS:GO matches.

Total number of maps / rounds

The total number of maps or rounds can only be used in Bo3 and Bo5 matches. In this bet type, you are simply predicting the total maps or rounds a particular team will be able to run. For example, you can bet on a team to run over 1.5 maps, and if it does, you win. This is a lucrative bet that is common among players.

PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Betting Odds

CS:GO skin betting and esports betting sites will post future odds as soon as they have a complete list of participants of the PGL Major Stockholm 2021. The odds for consequent rounds are typically available an hour or so after the end of the previous round. The odds determine how much you stand to win as it is multiplied by your wager. So it's beneficial to play at a esports betting site that offers the highest odds.

PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Tournament Winner Betting Odds

The PGL Major teams will be split into three categories: Legends, Challengers, and Contenders. There are no active tournament winner odds at the moment, but closer to the event, there will be. Top betting sites that cover the tournament will provide tournament winner betting odds as early as possible.

Region to Win PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Odds

Before the Stockholm Major, there were four regional qualifiers. Each regional qualifier was called "Minors", which featured eight teams for each region.

However, the system was revised into the Regional Major Ranking system, which will determine the 24 teams to participate.

  • Europe holds 11 slots;
  • CIS holds 5 slots,
  • North America has 5 slots,
  • while Asia, Oceania, and South America hold one slot each.

PGL Major Stockholm 2021 MVP Odds

The best esports betting sites will also offer odds for MVP (Most Valuable Player) betting. The betting odds are very competitive. With this option, you can bet on a player to win the MVP awards. However, it takes careful consideration of the best players and teams participating in the tournament to predict the MVP award winner correctly.

Who will win the CS:GO Major 2021 in Stockholm?

Currently, the defending champions are Astralis. After winning their fourth major at the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, they will be back to defend the title, and they are undoubtedly one of the teams to watch out for. However, other exciting and strong teams will participate in the tournament, so there is no way to know for sure who will win the PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

The PGL Major Stockholm 2021 will start with the New Challengers level. Eight of 16 teams will proceed to the New Legends stage. They'll be joined by eight teams who have Legend status. After that, only eight teams will move on to the playoffs. This stage is the New Champions stage. All the spots will be determined based on the last Regional Major Ranking tournament, the IEM Fall 2021.

Stockholm 2021 — The end of the Astralis era?

The Danish CS:GO team, Astralis, might slump because their star player Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz made a big switch. Since he left, the team has been struggling to find its footing. There has been a multitude of rumors that most of the players on the team are stepping down. It definitely looks like the "Astralis era" is coming to an end. They're still in the running, though, since they last won.

Without a doubt, the team will give its all in the tournament. They usually have a slow start in some tournaments, which was seen in early 2019 and 2020. However, during the StarLadder Berlin Major in 2019, they came alive and started destroying the other teams. In 2020, they won the EPL and some other tournaments, and by the end of the year, they became the number 1 team.

Recent Roster Changes before PGL Major Stockholm 2021

Many team members have made some major switches. These switches are either great blows for some teams or have proven to be a success for some. After six years with the team, Natus Vincere, Flamie is no longer contracted. Dev1ce left the team Astralis to join NiP. This major move was worth a shocking $1 million. Coldzera also decided to leave the team, FaZe Clan, to join Complexity.

It was recently announced that XANTARES was released from his contract, making him eligible to join a new team ahead of the start of the season. This announcement came two weeks after he stepped down from an active roster. The final teams are yet to be announced for this year's PGL Major. Fans are looking forward to the new set of rosters and the announcement of new members.

When PGL finally gave an update on the upcoming location of the major, it did not provide a statement about the teams' roster. However, to ensure that the event is a success and accessible to all the players, we are confident PGL will see to it and make sure teams meet deadlines. They are also keeping a close eye on the acknowledgment of specific activities by the Swedish authorities.

The first deadline was for the changes in Sweden's temporary entry ban, which affected entry for fans and players into the country. Luckily this was lifted, and the PGL will be taking place in Stockholm. The second deadline was on the 15th of September where the organizers would see how many people would be allowed into the Avicii arena. They're hoping to fill the arena to its capacity.

Our Favorites to Win PGP Major Stockholm 2021

There are some fan favorites, and those teams are anticipated to make a breakthrough in this year's PGL Major Stockholm 2021 competition. These teams range from Gambit, Navi, Astralis, G2, and NiP. After a two-year hiatus, the teams are gearing up for great success and to make their fans proud. They all need to find their footing and assert dominance. The exciting part is that anything can happen.
NaVi (Natus Vincere) logo

Natus Vincere

Natus Vincere, aka NaVi, are coming into this major following two consecutive titles. It would've been three had Gambit not triumphed the BLAST Premier Spring Finals in January 2020. These two teams are running head to head, and they are coming in with an iron fist. It will be hard to knock them down. NaVi's recent success is because of their top contributor to the team; member 'S1mple'.
NIP (Ninjas In Pyjamas) Logo

Team NiP

Ninjas in Pyjamas is a team worth mentioning. They've shown that they're capable of doing great things. They currently have one of the world's best players, 'device', in their roster. With him alone, they pose a threat to every team. NiP has the potential to break through and take big wins at the PGL Major Stockholm 2021. Even though they didn't show dominance in the last four events, there's some hope.
Gambit Esports Logo

Gambit

Gambit's team members 'Sh1ro' and 'Ax1le' took the scene by storm this February when they stood their ground, rose to the occasion, and bagged a $400,000 prize pool at the IEM XV World Championship. If Gambit gets off to a decent start, they will definitely

Astralis

After 'Device's' departure, Astralis might have a difficult start, but they are not entirely doomed. Some have said that the team losing Dev1ce as an experienced leader will be tough. Furthermore, since some other members also decided to leave the team, they might have a difficult CS:GO Major this year. However, with the anticipation of the announcement of their new roster alteration, more greatness might follow for the team.
